Lange reviewed the 2016 watch collection through a series of highly visual "portraits": SAXONIA MOON PHASE, GRAND LANGE 1 MOON PHASE "Lumen", DATOGRAPH PERPETUAL TOURBILLON and RICHARD LANGE JUMPING SECONDS "Living" among the four historic buildings in Dresden. Dresden is a city rich in culture and magnificent architecture. The city was laid out in the Baroque period of the 18th century. SAXONIA MOON PHASE
SAXONIA MOON PHASE combines a highly accurate moon phase display with the unique Lange large calendar display. The movement components in the photo come from the seven-stage gear displayed on the moon phase. This display only needs to be calibrated every 122.6 years, very precise.
Semper Opera House
Built in 1838-41, the opera house was run by Gottfried Semper, but was destroyed in World War II. Its reconstruction process is not easy. One of the big challenges is to rebuild the interior of the grand stucco marble. Craftsmen must regain masonry technology that has long been lost. The complexity of this process is that the marble layer needs to be applied to the gypsum while it is still wet, and then skim, waxed, and polished on the surface.
