Purchase of S&A CW-7900 water chiller by a New Zealand university laboratory for cooling the charge-coupled device (CCD) camera

The requirements are as follows: The cooling capacity should be 30KW at 1. the ambient temperature of 0~30℃, and 2. the water temperature of 19℃.
However, according to the performance curve of a type of S&A chiller with the maximum cooling capacity – CW-7900 chiller, it is found that the CW-7900 chiller only achieves a cooling capacity of 30KW only when the room temperature is 20℃ and the output water temperature is 30℃. S&A regretted to inform Kim that it might be impossible for S&A CW-7900 chiller to meet his cooling requirement. S&A thought that such cooperation with Kim would be impossible. However, S&A received an encouraging message from Kim.
“We still made a decision to buy this CW-7900 chiller as a testing machine. We have confidence that it will achieve cooling of CCD camera,” said Kim.
