Rio DE janeiro Olympic women's 4 x100 relay preliminaries Sunday morning, the United States due to the second and third good handover good turnovers last column group. They allegedly said after the game, the Brazilian players to interference, the United States the second great felix replay.Such a complaint filed won the approval of the arbitration.
Previously, China was ranked eighth with 42 seconds 70, should qualify, but due to the time of the United States will be in Rio separate heavy late 18th, on the basis of their power, in a quiet environment without interference in 42 seconds 70 possibility is very large, so the Chinese team's final qualification are likely to be lost.
For the benefit of the athletes, the Chinese athletics team, according to the rights given by the international association of athletics federations shall be carried out in accordance with the rules of the complaint.
According to the Chinese athletics team, arbitration of the United States replay results is unfair, for three reasons: first, the track and field competition, the athlete's body collision is often a lot of items will appear.According to the situation, the Brazilian players are not intended to affect the United States.A similar situation in the past a lot of games are interference opponent's performance athletes were canceled.Athletes be only from recognize unlucky.
The Chinese athletics team, for example, daegu world championships 2011, robles to pull touch liu caused irreparable influence to the result of the match, liu xiang has won a silver medal should have won the first. At that time, China has carried on the complaint, the iaaf has accepted the complaint, but the results do not change, the more there is no replay.
Second, China's track team believes that the United States a fatal problem is made a mistake when handover good they lead to stick, interference is not Brazilian players, but later they kept the cause of the error on the opponent.
Finally, China's track team believe that let the United States is the largest single replay unfair.Because they can compete without any and interference under the environment of the game, this game against other teams conditions appear huge contrast.
According to introducing, the Chinese athletics team and arbitration for over an hour of intense debate, but the end result is very regret, arbitration decision still can replay the United States team.Despite himself said in the arbitration commission, such a ruling "is not perfect.
At present some well-known international track and field coaches also expressed a similar view, think of the arbitration commission to make such a decision is a "difficult".
China's track team finally said: "we respect the iaaf make a final decision, there will be no move outside of our rights. The team behind the game, the Chinese athletics team won't be affected by the event, for in the later game to get good grades."
